Entering your score

How to enter scores hole by hole on your phone during a round, score for playing partners, and fix a mistake.

You enter scores hole by hole on your phone as you play — open score entry from the event once the round starts, and each hole saves as you go. You only enter your strokes; the app applies your handicap and works out net scores automatically.

Where do I enter scores?

Open the event during the round and tap into score entry from your tee time. The hole-by-hole view shows one hole at a time: the score starts at par and you adjust it with big plus/minus buttons, then tap Next to save and move on. A par is one tap; a bogey is two. There's also a full scorecard grid view if you prefer to see all 18 holes at once — both save to the same scorecard, so you can switch freely. You can also tap any hole number in the strip above the score to jump straight to it and score holes in any order — handy for a shotgun start where your group begins on a hole other than 1.

What is "Confirm your group"?

The first time you open score entry for a round, a Confirm your group check-in appears before you can enter a score. It shows who's in your group so you can fix anything on the spot — change a tee, adjust a handicap, add a walk-up, or remove a no-show — then tap Start scoring. If everything looks right, it's a single tap to get past.

Can I enter scores for my playing partners?

Yes — anyone in your group can keep the card for the whole group. In the hole-by-hole view, tap a partner's row to enter their score for that hole. In practice one person usually scores for everyone, just like holding the paper card.

How does the quick keypad work?

On the scorecard grid, tapping any cell opens an in-app keypad instead of your phone's keyboard: tap a digit and the cursor automatically advances to the next hole. Birdie / Par / Bogey / Dbl buttons enter the common scores in one tap, pre-computed for that hole's par. For a 10 or higher, the keypad waits for the second digit. If your league tracks putts, the keypad asks for that hole's putts right after its score.

What if I enter a wrong score?

Just go back to that hole and change it — scores stay editable during the round. If the mistake is caught after your card has been confirmed, an organizer can reopen it and correct the score, and any affected results are recalculated.
