How the race works

Points come straight from the card.

Every round is ranked on its own the moment it finishes, and the points post before the group has left the parking lot.

  1. 1Play the roundScores come straight from the group's card, and the round counts the moment it completes.
  2. 2Points postA net or gross finish pays on a curve. Participation pays for every full card. Stableford points and birdies can pay too, if that's your league.
  3. 3Everyone sees itStandings update for the whole league, and the Home screen tells each player where the round left them: 2nd, up one, 60 points.

A worked example

One configuration, one Thursday, and what it paid.

A typical weekly league: net finish worth up to 50 over ten places, 10 points for showing up and posting a full card, and each player's best 80% of rounds counting so one bad week falls away. Here is what that pays in an eight-player round, and where the table stands afterwards.

Awards

Twenty-one awards. Every one is a board.

Tick the awards your season gives and the league chases them all year. Each one is a ranked board on the Standings page: the holder on top with the number, the next places beneath, and the full ranking a tap away. A new season starts with four on.

Worked out from scoresEvery board fills from the cards your players already post. Record putts on a round and the putting boards switch on too.
Qualifiers you controlAverage-based awards need a share of the season's rounds before a player ranks, and you set the share.
Most improved, measured rightThe handicap index locked at a player's first counting event against their last. It works the same whether the league runs its own index or players enter their own.
Frozen at the closeClosing the season freezes every board with the final places. The winners are a record, and the Most improved badge lands on the player's profile.

The rules

Your season, written your way.

Start from a template or build it row by row. Each row is a plain sentence with a couple of numbers in it, and the page shows you what it pays as you type.

Points rows from a fixed listNet finish, gross finish, net Stableford, birdies and better, and participation. Add the rows you want, with your own numbers.
Points on a curveThe winner takes the full amount and each place below is worth less, down to as many places as you pay. Gentle, standard or steep. At 50 for a win and 10 places paid: 50 · 30 · 22 · 18 · 15 · 13 · 12 · 11 · 10 · 9. Tied players split the places they tied for.
Rounds that countCount every round, or each player's best 75% of the season's rounds, so a bad week falls away. Participation is paid for every round.
Segments and multipliersSplit the season into a spring and a fall with their own tables, or make the club championship count double. Both are a tap on the Rules tab.
Tiebreakers in your orderMost round wins, best single round, most rounds played, lowest average net or most recent round. Players still level after the last one share a place.
Four templates to start fromNet finish, Net Stableford, Gross finish, or Drop the worst. Change anything afterwards; a rules change recalculates the season on the next read.

How you earn pointsNet finish. The winner takes 50, down to 10 places paid: 1st 50 · 2nd 30 · 3rd 22 …Bad weeks fall away. Your best 80% of the rounds played so far count.

Who's in

Everyone, or only the players who sign up.

By default anyone who posts a scoring round is in the race. Switch a season to opt-in and the roster earns the points, which is the shape a buy-in needs.

Join the racePlayers join from the season's page, where the rules are explained right beside the button. A strip at the top of every league screen and a row on their Home screen take them there.
A roster deadlineSet the date joining closes; it defaults to the first event's start, so the roster is settled before the first tee shot. You can add or remove anyone at any time.
Places that mean somethingThe race ranks the roster, so a finisher places among the players in it: 2nd of 6 when six are racing. The round's own leaderboard still shows everyone.
A page every player can readWho is in it, how points are earned with your actual numbers, which rounds count, the awards, and when it ends. Share it from a group text; it is always the current season.

Where it shows

One Standings page, four tabs.

PointsA podium, the order of merit with each player's movement since last week, and a tap on any name for the round-by-round ledger: every finish, every participation point, every dropped week.
AwardsEvery award the season gives, as boards. Holders, numbers with their units, the next places, and the full ranking.
MatchesEach player's won, lost and halved record by match type, this season or all time.
Money listNet won or lost on the league's betting pools, by season.

A season picker switches between this year and the records before it. A closed season is a record, its places and awards kept as they finished, and the next season starts from the same rules.

For the commish

Set it up once. Run it from your phone.

A guided builderName it, pick the events that count, choose the points rows and rules, tick the awards, review it all, create.
Events join themselvesA new event joins the active season when you create it, or you add events by hand. A practice round switches off with one tap.
Preview before you changeEdit the rules and see the standings under the new rules beside the current ones before you save.
Clone next yearA new season with the same rules and awards and none of the old events. Close the old one and its places are a record.
Always adds upA total and its breakdown come from the same rows, so every ledger matches the table.
Help when you need itA help article for every rule, and Caddie, the built-in assistant, answers the ones your players ask you.
